Night Comes and Day Goes

Night comes and day goes,
saddest times around;
the wind silently blows,
where longings are to be found.
I think of you
and sweetest dreams,
there in the dark blue
our reality seems.

Night comes and distant grows,
dreams are between;
lonely hours on the rows,
love is nowhere to be seen.
I think of you
in the dreams now gone,
which were once true
and have now shone.

Night comes and day goes,
memories are bound
to all the afterglows,
that once were here around.
I think of you
in evening deems,
what was once new
and full of esteems.
